The ‘Your Guide to Organising a Street Party’ is a useful resource to share with residents who approach the local council with questions about what permissions are required and who to obtain them from, including information on road closures, charges, playing music, insurance and fund raising. It also provides links to organisations who offer support; and addresses some of the popular myths surrounding street parties.
