Responding to a recent consultation from the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), SLCC, whilst recognising that there is no separate Code relating to parish and town councils, has welcomed the guidance provided recently for this sector, specifically the Six Steps fact sheet which supports the sector in managing data protection compliance while data sharing.
