25 July 2024We’re excited to announce that nominations are open for SLCC Regional Directors. This year, we have seven positions available: six regional positions with terms until the 2028 AGM, and one additional position for the North Region, with a term until the 2027 AGM.
Your Opportunity to Make a Difference:
- The commitment is manageable: Just four meetings a year (two in-person, two virtual), and attendance at every meeting isn’t mandatory – we understand our members are busy people.
- Flexible involvement: Beyond core duties, additional responsibilities are discretionary – you can choose your level of engagement.
- Diverse representation matters: We especially welcome nominations from members of smaller councils and part-time clerks. Your perspective is valuable!
- Participate in our democracy: Even if not elected, taking part is an achievement.
