12 April 2021Neil Barnett, the External Examiner of the Community Governance qualification, has reported to De Montfort University’s (DMU) Programme Assessment Board recognising the extraordinary events of the past year and
praising students, tutors and support staff for their continuing high standard of work.
He went on the acknowledge the ‘exemplary efforts of staff in adjusting to online delivery’ and commended the tutors for their continued online support of students in the absence of personal contact. The overall performance of students was regarded as ‘very high and often excellent at each level’.
