6 September 2024A landmark pensions review has been launched by the Chancellor to “boost investment, increase saver returns and tackle waste in the pensions system.” The Minister for Pensions will lead the review which will focus on defined contribution workplace schemes and the Local Government Pension Scheme.
In its initial stages the review will be considering evidence on a range of questions on the topics listed below:
- Scale and consolidation
- Costs versus value
- Investing in the UK
The review intends to work closely with stakeholders via meetings and workshops but also welcome written submissions through the survey link provided.
