This week (Monday 15 May to Sunday 21 May) is mental health awareness week, with a special focus this year on the theme of anxiety.
The Mental Health Foundation and Mind, among others are promoting this week and have provided lots of materials on stress, anxiety and a whole range of other items on mental health and wellbeing. Their aim is to use this week to talk to politicians and decision makers to increase understanding of anxiety by providing information on how it can become a problem. At the same time ensuring that mental health is a key priority for the Government and society.
