20 February 2024Thank you to all those who responded to the rapid response survey which ran from 13 – 18 February 2024. This gave some really helpful feedback for the sector response to the Martyn’s Law standard tier consultation. The Society of Local Council Clerks (SLCC) and the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) are working together through a Steering Group on their responses to the Home Office consultation and looking at how to best support local councils should the Draft Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill (Martyn’s Law) become law. To give all local councils a chance to complete the joint survey, we are extending this to 11.45pm on Thursday, 29 February 2024.
