5 December 2018The ever popular Leadership in Action conference for professional leaders in our sector and all those who aspire to be, is taking place at Stratford upon Avon on 5th and 6th June. This year however, the event is being combined with the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) Region XI Symposium which takes place on 6th and 7th June, presenting a unique opportunity to share the learning and networking experience with over 30 senior clerk colleagues from the United States and many others from across Europe.
The first day of the combined event is dedicated to the needs of English and Welsh Clerks who will then be joined by our international colleagues on the 6th. The programme on Friday 7th June is specifically focussed to the international agenda but to which SLCC members will be especially welcome to attend. This combination of two regular and popular events has enabled SLCC and IIMC to muster an inspiring programme of the leading thinkers in the world of local council management together with the rare opportunity to engage with international colleagues in interactive sessions.
