Parish Clerk and RFO

Hildenborough Parish Council is seeking to appoint a forward-thinking and proactive Parish Clerk and RFO to support Councillors in undertaking the work of the Council, and to work closely and actively with the local community. The key duties and responsibilities are detailed in the job description and person specification for this role.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have relevant experience and a track record of achievement, innovation, and commitment to public service. They must also be motivated, community-focused and possess sound communication and organisational skills. For the right candidate(s) the council will consider a split role of Parish Clerk or RFO with shared hours. The post is offered at 30 hours per week Scale 20-25 (£30,296-£33,945) pro rata.
You will be educated to A-level standard or equivalent and should hold a Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) or be prepared to attain this as soon as possible. Some knowledge of Local Council administration would be useful but is not essential although accounting knowledge is a key responsibility.
