Operations Manager

Oswestry is a traditional market town on the Wales / England Border with a population of 18,000. We are a busy and ambitious town council who deliver a wide range of services and events and have a current budget of £3.5 million.
The Operations Manager will be key to our future success. You will be a senior figure in the organisation and will be involved in a wide range of projects. You will have responsibility for some of our key services, important assets and high-profile contracts. Ideally you will have some knowledge of how a local council works, but this is not essential. We do, however, expect you to have experience of managing services, property, staff and contracts.
The successful candidate will come with positive intent and want to be part of an ambitious team.
