Salary: NALC Scale point 13-17 £22,627-£24,491 Full Time Equivalent

An exciting opportunity to join a small team working hard to provide excellent services to our community. Westfield Parish Council is a small parish about 10 miles south of Bath, providing a range of services including parks, allotments, open spaces and the delivery of community events.

We are looking for a clear thinking, motivated person with excellent interpersonal skills to undertake the parish council’s accounts and financial administration. The role includes liaising with suppliers and hirers, reporting to the parish council’s Finance and Personnel Committee, the monthly payroll and working with internal and external auditors.

You will ensure that the council meets local government best practice standards in relation to finance and be responsible for the efficient financial management of the parish council.

The successful candidate will have experience in accounts, and will already hold, or be prepared to undertake, the AAT qualification or equivalent.
