Salary: SCP 31 – 35 £34,728 to £38,890 pa depending on experience and qualification

Hours: Full Time 37 hours a week preferred; job share considered – (some evening work required). This is a permanent appointment.

Working in the council offices, just off the High Street, you will have a key role, working with a team of 16 Councillors who are keen to improve their community. The successful applicant will be either CiLCA qualified or willing to obtain the qualification within 12 months from appointment. The current Clerk/RFO will retire in Spring 2023, providing an opportunity to be considered for promotion to this post.

Responsibilities to include:

• Undertaking all aspects of the Council’s work including attending meetings, preparing agendas and reports (some evening work required)
