Batchworth is a relatively new community council operating in the parish council sector as the first of three levels of local government in Eastbury, Moor Park and Rickmansworth. We are seeking an experienced manager/administrator to become the councils Lead officer. You should be a proactive self-starter, able to work well with councillors, staff, members of the community and partner organisations.
You may be an experienced local council clerk or deputy clerk with the appropriate knowledge, and experience. Ideally you may have the status of being a qualified clerk. However, you may alternatively have a successful background in Local Government or elsewhere in the public or private sector with financial skills and an ability to interpret the law.
The post may suit an existing clerk wishing to add to their portfolio.
A recruitment pack and application form (required for all applicants) can be obtained from the Community Council’s website here or on request from Nick Randle at LGRC Associates [email protected]
Closing date for applications is 16th March 2020 and interviews will be held on 3rd April 2020
