17 January 2024SLCC, together with the Smaller Authorities Audit Appointments (SAAA) are currently in the process of developing an online sector specifics internal audit course, Principals of Internal Auditing Local Councils (PIALC).
The course will be a great addition for an experienced clerk who would like to expand their knowledge, and help other councils in the process.
SLCC is hosting a number of drop-in sessions throughout 2024 where you will learn more about the training and how you might be able to get involved in internal audit from a different angle.
The first session will take place on 25 January at 2pm and will last between 30 minutes to 1 hour, to allow time for everyone to ask questions.
