Overview

On Tuesday 30 July 2024, the Government published a consultation on proposed reforms to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF). The draft NPPF proposes reversals to many of the changes made in the December 2023 version of the current NPPF, and invites responses on a series of proposed reforms, many of which are aimed to support the Government’s wider objectives “to achieve sustainable growth in our planning system” and “to achieve economic growth and build 1.5 million new homes”.

The webinar will explore the proposed reforms, focusing on those which will have the biggest implications for the sector.

The consultation on the revised NPPF, sets out the Government’s planning policies for England and how these should be applied, closes at 11.45pm on 24 September 2024.
