Overview

Is your council ready to go when the inevitable happens?

Operation London Bridge is the plan for what will happen in the UK following the death of a senior national figure.

This guidance is based on King Charles III, however, you can take elements of this for other senior members of the royal family.

Philip Peacock PSLCC, clerk to Huntingdon Town Council and the Operation London Bridge webinar trainer, advises ‘It is key is to discuss your preparation plans early, do not wait until the event itself. Make sure that when the inevitable happens, you are ready to go’.

“A very useful and informative training session, covering a topic which is little thought about, but which is extremely important to get right. As we all know, you can’t escape death and taxes. However, this training course ensures that by putting together a comprehensive plan for your council or public body, you can be fully prepared with the correct response, when the time comes.”
Olivia Marsden, Sunninghill & Ascot Parish Council

“The webinar provides all the information for Operation London Bridge ensuring we are well prepared.”
Lisa Renfree, Ramsey Town Council

“A useful refresher for those of us who have had to implement the Plan previously, and a ‘must’ for those who haven’t.”
Jan Smallacombe, Tavistock Town Council
