With a focus on Business Services, the webinar will cover Business Administrator, Governance Officer and Team Leader / Supervisor Standards.

About the Trainer

Rebecca (Bec) Walker – Quality & Curriculum Manager, Central YMCA

With 25 years of dedicated service at Central YMCA, Bec brings extensive expertise and a deep commitment to fostering excellence in education and training. Throughout her career, Bec has held key roles from Tutor to Vocational Manager. Currently, as the Quality & Curriculum Manager, Bec is responsible for ensuring a high-quality curriculum that empowers apprentices and their Tutors to succeed. Her role involves working closely with employers to tailor training that meets their specific needs, ensuring apprentices gain the skills and knowledge essential for thriving careers. She collaborates closely with vocational managers to develop innovative resources that enrich the learner journey, supporting success at every stage of their apprenticeship.

Additionally, Bec leads the annual reviews of our programmes to ensure they remain relevant and aligned with industry standards set by IFATE (Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education). As a manager in the Quality team, Bec played a key role in Central YMCA’s successful Ofsted inspection in December 2023, achieving a Grade 2 (Good) rating. This accomplishment reflects our collective commitment to delivering excellence in education and meeting high standards of quality. Passionate about quality and lifelong learning, Bec is dedicated to empowering learners with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in a constantly evolving professional landscape.
