5 December 2023The government has published draft Planning Practice Guidance (PPG) on the biodiversity net gain (BNG) process. It explains how BNG will work when it becomes mandatory. This includes topics such as what is BNG, what types of developments will be eligible and how do you calculate BNG.
The PPG is published in draft and will only come into force once regulations have passed through parliament, anticipated late January 2024.
