Following Labour’s landslide election victory on 4 July with 412 seats in the House of Commons, it has been confirmed that Deputy Leader of the Labour party, the Right Honourable Angela Rayner MP, has been appointed as Deputy Prime Minister and Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
Ms Rayner’s appointments follow her previous roles as Shadow Deputy Prime Minister and Shadow Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
