23 September 2020De Montfort University (DMU) reviewed its partnership with the SLCC for the delivery of the Community Governance (CG) courses in a thorough full-day panel meeting on September 23rd.
The panel was highly complimentary and commended the SLCC for making its exemplary performance. This is excellent news meaning that the partnership will now continue for the next five years. In particular, the panel was impressed by the proposals for a Masters which continues to be developed by our DMU colleagues, and the way in which the course makes a significant and genuine difference in the sector. *subject to finalising details of collaborative contract.
CG covers the ways in which people and organisations work together and independently, making decisions for the benefit of a local community. A range of qualifications are available awarded by De Montfort University, Certificate of Higher Education (Level 4), Foundation Degree (Level 5) and Honours Degree (Level 6).
