The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) is asking local (parish and town) councils to submit planning case studies for a new planning publication as part of a new dedicated planning webpage.

NALC is working on a dedicated planning webpage that will go live later this year. As part of that process, a new case study publication is being put together to provide examples of what local councils do, from neighbourhood planning and housing allocations to creating planning committees and appealing planning decisions.

Local councils undertaking any planning work that has benefited their communities can submit a case study by completing a simple form by 27 June 2023.
