Alongside the recent petition and letters to the media and government regarding remote meetings, the Centre for Governance and Scrutiny (CfGS) has published its review of remote meetings and the lessons learnt from the pandemic.
It was commissioned by the government and focuses on principle councils, but it is useful information for our sector too. It aims to help councils be better prepared for hybrid meetings – setting out ways meetings can be managed in a fair, transparent, and proportionate way.
