7 September 2023The Smaller Authorities’ Audit Appointments (SAAA) has appointed Annie Child PSLCC, Clerk to Salisbury City Council, as their new Chief Executive. Taking over the reigns from Howard Midworth, Annie will support the SAAA Board in delivering its development plans over the next few years.
David Bowles, SAAA Board Chairman, said “We are delighted to welcome Annie as our new Chief Executive. Annie will be working closely with me and the Board to expand on the SAAA’s work to improve accountability and governance in the small authority sector. Her broad experience, including having been a recipient of our services, will help us develop plans to streamline processes and ensure that we continue to provide appropriate levels of assurance for different sized bodies but in a highly cost-effective manner.“
