2 July 2019SLCC is pleased to announce that a special key session has been included in this year’s National Conference on 2nd and 3rd October in Leicestershire. Mike Childs, Head of Science, Policy & Research at Friends of the Earth will be giving an informative presentation about climate change and the action local government needs to be taking NOW.
As many local councils are considering declaring a climate emergency, Mike will explain some practical steps which any parish or community council can implement. There will also be opportunity for members to share the actions their councils are already taking.
