28 June 2019The High Street in many towns is in decline with everything seeming to be going from bad to worse. However, Professor Kim Cassidy at Edge Hill University near Liverpool is working with SLCC and The Patients Association to put together a workshop/showcase event later this year to help colleagues working in this area of interest to see what might be possible so that in the future the High Street survives and thrives.
It must now become a place that is not only involved in retail but is also a place that supports “Health”, “Education” and “Community Development”.
The date of the workshop has yet to be decided but it will be held at Edge Hill University near Liverpool later this year.
