25 January 2019Professor Gary Craig, the External Examiner of the Community Governance course, has reported to De Montfort University’s (DMU) Programme Assessment Board praising the quality of individual students’ work and the quality of the teaching team.
His report concludes: “The staff team, led by Elisabeth Skinner, provide students with a remarkably detailed and supportive framework in which to undertake the course. The course itself is unique and should be highly valued as an opportunity for hard-pressed people in a challenging occupation to have the time to reflect and build their skill and knowledge base to the benefit of local communities. I very much hope to see it continue to thrive and grow and, with the move to DMU, expand its target base further north.”
