17 February 2025The government has published its formal response to the Electoral Commission’s reports on elections held in 2024.
The Electoral Commission ‘published its report on voter identification at the July 2024 UK Parliamentary general election on 11 September 2024, and a full report on the May 2024 local, Police and Crime Commissioner and Mayoral elections and the July General Election on 13 November 2024.’
The government’s response sets out its position on each of the recommendations made.
