16 January 2025The Welsh Government has announced that they are extending their bursary schemes for another year. The funding, intended to help strengthen financial management and governance, allows councils to access a support package to boost their governance infrastructure, including training for clerks and councillors.
The two schemes available include the Wales Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) Bursary Scheme and the Wales Training Bursary Scheme.
To qualify all training must be completed by 28 February 2026.
