About the Trainer

Beckie Whitehouse has worked as a parish clerk for the last nine years, serving three separate yet distinct Parish Councils. She has trained and is qualified as a Life Coach and Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) practitioner. Her work has been with adults and young people.

The COVID-19 pandemic – with restrictions and lockdowns – added pressure to everyone at work, and personally. Many clerks work alone in a parish office or from home; this may have added to feelings of isolation and loneliness, which can have an adverse affect on mental health.

Beckie’s delivery during this practical, interactive session will provide top tips for maintaining mental well being, plus specific strategies for clerks.
