Office Manager/Clerk to Council

Denmead Parish Council is looking for an Office Manager/Clerk to Council, the role is full time (negotiable) – 37 hours per week

We are looking for a proactive person with considerable administration, HR and organisational skills, however we also need an excellent manager, leader, innovator and ambassador to partner our elected members in delivering their strategy. In the next few years, we have ambitions of relocating the office and developing facilities in conjunction with the Community Association. Pride in the village is strong and the Parish Council are fundamental in delivering the services that make the village an amazing place to live and work.

If you are the right person, you will be determined that the council meets local government best practice standards and will ensure the efficient and effective implementation of council decisions. You will attend meetings with the Chairman and be supported by a strong team consisting of Responsible Financial Officer, Three Committee Clerks and our Head Groundsman and team. The burial ground, sports facilities and green spaces are all managed by the Parish Council.
