Katherine Doughty FSLCC, Usha Kilich and Linda Brodier, SLCC students, have, as part of their Level 6 BA Honours Degree in Community Governance, organised a training workshop which will focus on ‘Building Resilience, Emotional Intelligence and Personal Confidence to Help you Thrive as a Clerk or Council Officer’.
During the workshop, which is taking place on 3 July 2024 from 10am to 4pm at Banbury Town Hall in Banbury, and delivered by Breakthrough Communications, participants will delve into practical strategies and scenarios tailored to the unique challenges faced within council environments.
Attendees will gain insights into the origins of their own behaviour and that of others, and develop personal skillsets, including assertiveness, active listening, giving and receiving feedback and confidence skills.
The standard delegate fee is £50, including lunch. However, delegates booking their place by 31 May will receive an early bird discount, paying only £35, including lunch.
