8 November 2023Homes England has published two resources to support local authorities, including local councils, to support the delivery of new housing and regeneration in England.
The first is ten fact sheets with key information and figures on different areas of home building and regeneration. These cover topics such as the need for homes; how new homes are planned; economic, social, environmental benefits; what is affordable housing; and new homes in rural areas.
The second is a Capacity Analysis Tool, a downloadable tool that has been created to help local authorities and other organisations to identify the skills and capacity within their organisation in relation to housing delivery and regeneration, and signpost actions to help improve this capacity.
