Hockley Heath Parish Council, Solihull, invites applications for the permanent position of Clerk and Responsible Finance Officer to the Parish Council. The position is part-time at 22 hours per week and the salary range is SCP 19-21 (£27,857 – £28,900 pro rata per annum, pay award pending), dependent upon experience.

The Hockley Heath Parish falls within the Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council area but the village  borders Warwickshire (both Warwick District Council and Stratford-on-Avon Council administrative areas), and is also only a few miles from the border with Worcestershire.

The position is homebased but travel to the Council’s premises will be expected on a regular basis for the management of the facilities and to attend meetings. The Parish Council owns a recreation ground and a village hall.
