Ellingham, Harbridge & Ibsley Parish Council require a P/T Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer.
Ellingham, Harbridge & Ibsley Parish is situated in the Avon Valley and is a large rural parish representing some 350 households in New Forest District. The Parish Council consists of 10 councillors holding monthly Council meetings and separate monthly Planning Committee meetings.
The role is varied and interesting and we are looking for someone who is self-motivated with a flexible approach to their work and experienced in office administration. We would ideally like someone with the CiLCA qualification who already has experience working for a parish or town council or in the local council sector, but we will be happy to consider other appropriate administrative experience.
The role will be up to 14 hours per week (negotiable), working from home, with attendance at 2 evening meetings per month.
NALC Pay Scale SCP 20 to 28 (£13.75 to £17.05 per hour) dependent on qualifications and relevant experience, plus £25 per month working from home allowance.
Other benefits: Pension, holiday allowance of 25 days (pro-rata) per annum, mileage allowance where appropriate, training costs and overtime paid when required.
