A Toolkit for Community and Town Councils in Wales

Join this interactive session for a look at the new Toolkit designed to support the local council sector.

The Toolkit comprises:

• A governance and financial management health check designed to assess whether your council has fundamental governance and financial management arrangements and policies in place; and
• A governance and financial management self-assessment to enable your council to reflect on how it manages finances and governance, how it operates within the community and the action it can take to make its work more effective.

Your participation in the session will provide you with:

• An informed understanding of the purpose of the Toolkit
• An opportunity to sample the Toolkit content
• The chance to provide feedback to the task group about the general design, format, functionality, potential impact and its practical uses
