19 August 2021Further to the news item of 28 July reporting the offer made, the three local government unions, UNISON, GMB and Unite, have now confirmed that their respective consultation ballots on the final pay offer will run through to late September or early October.
All three unions will be recommending that the pay offer of 1.75% be rejected.
Further updates will be provided once the consultation process has run its course and the unions have responded. This is likely to be early to mid October.
