Sunday 4 July 2021 is the first national ‘thank you day’ and is an opportunity to show appreciation to those who have helped us over the past year and build on the sense of community which was so important during lockdown.
This campaign is proving very popular, with an estimated 16 million people planning to take part in events in their communities. Events already planned include cheers for volunteers, the country’s biggest ever BBQ with neighbours, led by Levi Roots, the Scouts and the National Citizens Service and the Power Hour litter pick led by Keep Britain Tidy.
