Webinar outline:
The aim of this 3-part webinar will be to give you a practical understanding of the following:
Session 1: Tuesday 5 October, 10 – 11:30am (1.5 hours, with a 15 minute break)
- The key responsibilities and legal position
- Your role in health and safety
Session 2: Tuesday 12 October, 10am – 1pm (3 hours, with a 30 minute break)
- The principles and purpose of risk assessment
- How to undertake a general risk assessment.
- Contracted work and its safety
Session 3: Tuesday 19 October, 10 – 11:30am (1.5 hours, with a 15 minute break)
- The role and benefit of monitoring health and safety
- The importance of incident investigation and basic investigation skills

About the Trainer:
Kelly Massey has worked in health and safety for 5 years, is NEBOSH certified in Occupational Health and Safety and NEBOSH accident and investigation, and is currently undertaking Diploma Level 6 in Occupational Health and Safety.
Kelly’s career in health and safety started as a Health and Safety Officer working for a cooperate veterinary company managing 150 veterinary practices across the south of England. Three years later she accepted a job at Norfolk County Council as a Health and Safety Officer, working across all sectors of the organisation.
