24 March 2021Today, we were pleased to welcome over 165 delegates from the South West to our first Virtual Regional Training Seminar (VRTS) of 2021. Rob Smith, SLCC Chief Executive and Linda Larter MBE FSLCC, SLCC President,
opened the seminar and joined host Linda Roberts FSLCC in welcoming participants to the event.
The diverse agenda included sessions on planning, virtual meetings, VAT and a very timely session on Preparing for New Councillors. Another topical and informative session, led by Clare Rolston of CLR Law discussed bullying in the workplace, specifically relating to officers in the local council sector.
