30 June 2020Information has been published in a letter to local councils from Simon Clarke MP, Local Government Minister and Rebecca Pow MP, Environment Minister which includes guidelines on the opening of public toilets.
The government are keen to keep public toilets open where possible in order that those people who need to make use of the facilities, which include those with specific health needs, families, outdoor workers and those exercising outside, may do so safely.
