Statutory role: background
The Trusteeship role – sole, joint and custodian, incorporated and holding trustees. Ex-officio trustees. Appointment of trustees. The charity’s governing document and its charitable purpose.
Issues to consider at registration
Issues after registration – separating charity property from local authority property. Dealing with conflicts of interest. Use of trustee’s property by a charity and vice versa. Trusteeship arrangements other than a local council.
Roles, duties and responsibilities - Trustees, Chairman, and Treasurer.
Governance issues – Meetings, the Annual Report
