The 2012 Agenda
2012's Regional Conference Programme entitled: "FASTER development, HIGHER aims, STRONGER communities" has been developed from your feedback and is a chance for you to network and keep up to date with all Financial, Legal and HR Legislation. You will also gain the understanding of how the Localism Act affects you and the knowledge for Neighbourhood Planning. The programme will include professional speakers, workshops to discuss recent case studies and networking opportunities to share good practice.

  "A Guide to Parish Council Insurance... what you need and why you need it" - a brief insight into current hot topics by representatives from our sponsor Came and Company Parish Council Insurance.

  Legal Update
Debbie Ashton, the SLCC National Legal Advisor and Solicitor to Nicholas Hancox Solicitors, leads a legal update on topical issues.
  Pension Session - what will the proposed pension reforms mean for public sector workers?
Howard Midworth feeds back the results of a recent survey conducted by the SLCC and answers your burning questions on the subject.
