The 36th National Conference will take place this year in Durham from Friday 15th – Sunday 17th October, the Early bird offer is now open and runs until early September.

Travelling to Durham couldn’t be easier as Nick Randle and I found out recently. We took the train from Kings Cross arriving into Durham Railway Station 2 and a half hours later. A short walk from the station found us at the Radisson Blu Hotel. Returning to Bristol (Newcastle – Bristol) on EasyJet was very efficient. We took the train to Newcastle (25 minutes), jumped on the metro (15 minutes) and arrived into the airport terminal. A 50 minute flight brought us safely back to Bristol. There are many different airlines that fly into Newcastle, please see the list below.

The hotel which opened under 2 years ago is conveniently located just a short walk from both the City Centre and the railway station. The hotel offers 207 bedrooms, plenty of conference facilities and a leisure club with swimming pool and beauty treatment facilities. We have once again obtained great rates for accommodation both pre and post conference just incase you are able to extend your stay in this fantastic city.

An overflow hotel (Premier Inn) located opposite the Radisson Blu has also been obtained. Please do indicate on the booking form if you are willing to consider this hotel. Rooms will only be allocated at the Premier Inn once all of the rooms at the Radisson have been filled. A £50 reduction will be applied to your invoice if you are allocated a room at the overflow hotel.
